The course provides an introduction to the basics of doing research. The course focuses on two main aspects of the research process: how to manage a research process, and how to use the proper analytic tools. In order to have a big picture on both subjects and to acquire the basic research skillset, we review the main stages of the research process, from the formulating of research question through information gathering and interpretation to the fundamental roles of presentation. Also, we get acquainted with the most important methodological concepts and tools such as conceptualization, correlation and causation and the perspectives and limitations of qualitative research.
